NAPEO Taking “Keep Calm and Call a PEO” Message to Society for Human Resources Management Exposition in Las Vegas

| 6/29/2015

Association Hopes to Show How a PEO Can Be an “HR Pro’s Best Friend”

June 29, 2015, Las Vegas, NV —The National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO) is participating this week in the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) 2015 Annual Conference & Exposition in Las Vegas. Carrying the theme “Keep Calm and Call a PEO,” the NAPEO exhibit aims to show how a PEO can be “an HR pro’s best friend,” by helping to solve problems and create efficiencies in order to maximize an HR executive’s time, staff, and budget.

“PEOs provide a single outsourcing solution that gives HR pros more time to focus on strategic HR and driving productivity and profitability within their organizations,”” said NAPEO President and CEO Pat Cleary. “Ultimately, this helps the companies themselves grow and thrive.”

A 2014 study by noted economists Laurie Bassi and Dan McMurrer showed that small businesses using a PEO grow faster, have lower employee turnover, and are much less likely to go out of business than businesses not using a PEO.

“PEOs provide a toolbox full of resources to help HR professionals in areas like benefits administration, employee onboarding, payroll processing, employee handbooks and training, and regulatory compliance,” said Cleary. “The bottom line is that PEOs are good for small businesses and the folks who work for them.”
