This session will discuss the overall strategic crisis management checklist and the steps to mitigate risks and actions steps in the event of a breach. Who should be involved? When do you contact your insurance provider? What should be included in your crisis management plan?

Objectives:

  • Review the overall steps of a crisis management plan.
  • Discuss what is needed for your incident response plans. When do you incorporate other parties (key third parties, law enforcement, PR, etc.)
  • How do you manage external public relations while maintaining the integrity of an ongoing investigation?
