About The Event

Join us on May 7 from 3:00–4:00pm ET for an engaging Women in NAPEO Community Conversation focused on what it truly means to lead today. Together, we’ll explore how to build executive leadership skills, lead with compassion and create a culture where colleagues feel supported, empowered and inspired to grow.

This interactive session is open to professionals, both men and women, of all levels and backgrounds across the PEO industry—because strong leadership benefits everyone.

This community conversation will explore the evolving role of leadership in today’s workplace, with a focus on empathy, empowerment and accountability. Participants will share perspectives on how to be both an effective boss and a supportive colleague while developing the skills needed to lead at the executive level. Open to all, this session invites meaningful dialogue across experiences, roles and career stages.

Listed below are optional pre-reads to spark ideas—no homework required, but helpful if you want to come ready with perspectives to share. These short reads focus on what separates good managers from truly impactful leaders, and how strong leadership shapes strong teams.

  • What does empathy actually look like in a fast-paced, client-driven environment like PEOs?
  • What’s one thing a manager can do consistently that has the biggest impact on team engagement—and are we prioritizing it enough?
  • What’s your leadership style?
