Mentor Program

Whether to learn about industry priorities and challenges, or simply to cultivate a business relationship, engaging with a mentor can help you improve your career and grow your business. This is a 12-month program for newer PEO executives to connect with more experienced professionals in the industry. Available exclusively to NAPEO members.

PEO executives interested in being paired with a mentor must:

  1. Be a member in good standing.
  2. Ensure mentor’s time is respected and well used.
  3. Be willing and available to speak via phone call at least once monthly for a period of 12 months. (Suggested commitment of one hour per month.)

Apply to be a "Mentee"

Participants interested in serving as a mentor must:

  1. Be a member in good standing.
  2. Have at least five years’ experience in the PEO industry and have the desire to share expertise and knowledge.
  3. Promote goodwill; impart knowledge/skills unique to the PEO industry; connect mentee with industry resources.
  4. Be familiar with NAPEO’s value to the PEO industry, e.g. advocacy, industry collaboration, education, and networking opportunities.
  5. Seek to identify specific member needs and expectations.
  6. To the extent possible, facilitate introductions among peers.
  7. Be willing and available to speak via phone call at least once monthly for a period of 12 months. (Suggested commitment of one hour per month.)
