NAPEO Gives Back

NAPEO Gives Back

The NAPEO Gives Back initiative was launched in 2019 to harness the “Power of Many” in the PEO industry and facilitate community involvement and charitable endeavors. One of the key parts of the initiative is give back to the cities that host NAPEO’s Annual Conference & Marketplace and other meetings by making an impactful contribution to a worthy local charity that will make a real difference for the host city.

“We started NAPEO Gives Back to leave the communities that host our conferences and meetings a little better off than they were before we arrived. -- Barron Guss, NAPEO’s former chair and the driving force behind the NAPEO Gives Back initiative.

In 2019, the first year of NAPEO Gives Back, the association raised more than $52,000 for Anthropos Arts, an Austin-based charity that provides mentoring and musical instruction for low-income students. Read the impact statement from Anthropos Arts

In 2020, we partnered with Marco Island, Florida-based Our Daily Bread Food Pantry which serves more than 30,000 individuals by distributing food.  Together we raised $79,470 for Our Daily Bread. This donation allowed the food pantry to purchase a long desired walk-in freezer. Coastal Breeze News covered the check presentation, you can read the story here

In 2021, our NAPEO Gives Back partner was San Antonio-based  Soldiers' Angels.  The mission of Soldiers' Angels is to provide aid, comfort, and resources to the military, veterans, and their families. We raised more than $138,000 and donations were fund those Canteen Gift Cards for one full year, feeding more than 11,000 vets as they pass through the VA hospital system in San Antonio. Read the impact statement here.

For 2022, NAPEO has chosen the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission as this year’s NAPEO Gives Back partner! This organization provides services to homeless, under-employed, and the most vulnerable citizens of the region through intentional outreach and programs specifically designed to help individuals get back the assistance they need. We ask that you consider donating to this year's partner. Your generous donation will help this organization reach those in the community that need it the most. Check out this video that shows the CVRM team in action.
