NAPEO Webinar: Preparing for Payroll Funding Volatility- 3/29/2023

Mar 29, 2023
02:00 PM - 03:00 PM EST/EDT
Location:
Virtual via Zoom

On Wednesday, March 29, at 2:00 p.m. EST, join John Polson and Sheldon Blumling with Fisher Phillips as they discuss the recent liquidity issues created by the Silicon Valley Bank closure, and those that followed, led to a mad scramble.  Hundreds of millions of dollars in payroll hung in the balance for PEOs and their customers.  Fortunately, SVB and other closures did not result in a lengthy disruption.  Now what?  Funding disruptions come in many shapes and sizes.  Banking is just one example.  Even in normal times, customers might not have funds for payroll because they have their own liquidity issues related to investor delays or a customer might just be circling the drain financially.  If the recent banking kerfuffle is a sign of things to come, there will be more client funding disruptions than we have seen in recent years.  Preparing for client liquidity issues is imperative to limit PEO exposure.

This webinar will discuss PEO strategies for responding to client payment delays, regardless of the cause.  It will also cover related challenges that arise in times of financial volatility, including customer downsizings, compensation reductions, and furloughs.
